Beat up shelf? Cover it in glitter

I acquired this beat up shelf recently and thought it would be a perfect addition to my craft room. It's a sturdy unit, but the top is really beat up. So, I covered it in glitter. All you need is a paint brush, some modge podge and some glitter.

Santa brought me a cuttlebug this year and I am so excited! I want to emboss everything I can! Such a great little machine!
